Men’s Healing Gathering

MNBC’s Ministry of Women and Gender Equity is happy to share that the second Tâpahtiyim’sowin* (Humility): A Journey of Discovery and Healing Men’s Gender-Based Violence Healing Gathering will take place Fall 2025.

Métis men (18+) are invited to express their interest in joining a men’s healing gathering November 6–9, 2025 at beautiful Métis Crossing near Smoky Lake, Alberta.

Led by Mosom Bruce Dumont and Michael Dumont, this gathering offers those in attendance a chance to:

Attend ceremony

Connect with the Métis teachings of wahkohtowin (kinship), our interconnection and shared responsibility

Discuss strength-based strategies for gender-based violence prevention

This event welcomes and includes all men with intersecting identities, with a focus on healing and building safer, stronger communities together.
